The Springfield High School Booster Club is a group
of parents and friends of the high school who are
interested in all activities at SHS. The purpose of
the Boosters is to support the school in general,
across all of the various activities and events
throughout the year.
We believe students, parents, and the entire
community ALL benefit from student participation in
sports, music, drama and the many other
co-curricular activities. We feel this is a key
ingredient in the success of Springfield High
School.
Our fundraising efforts this past school year
(2010- 2011) allowed us to give nearly $20,000 to the
various clubs, sports, and students at SHS! With
your help, we’d like to find ways to do even more
this year….
And we DO need your help – every year we lose our
most experienced Boosters to graduation. We’re
excited about getting some new faces and fresh
ideas!
We meet in the Apollo Café (part of the SHS Commons) the 2nd week of each month. Be sure to check the school calendar for the
next meeting date. It’s a great opportunity to hear what’s happening around the school, as well as participate in the funding of the various programs and special events. We’ll look forward to seeing you there!
Also, if you happen to be on Facebook, look for us
there and "friend" us (Springfield High School
Booster Club- Just click on icon below!) . . . we'll be posting meeting
notices, special events, etc. So its another great
way to stay in the loop on the various Booster
activities.
